Housing - Surveys

Air Surveys were asked to survey a large number of occupied dwellings in north west London for a local authority. 

The scope of the job involved investigating a variety of properties from bedsits to large, semi detached and detached houses, in all accessible areas for the presence of asbestos.

The surveys were planned and initial contact was made by sending a letter to each tenant.  The type 2 survey was then undertaken by one or two surveyors each day, over a number of weeks. 

Samples were analysed at our laboratory and a report produced on the type and condition of all asbestos found, together with recommendations for action on each item.  These were supplied to the client on a weekly basis, as surveys were completed.
