Site surveys

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 require employers and other dutyholders to prevent the exposure of their workforce to asbestos, or where this is not possible, to reduce the exposure to the lowest possible level. Regulation 4 specifically requires an asbestos management strategy to be in place. 

Air Surveys Limited can undertake a full survey of your site to determine whether asbestos is present and in what state of repair.  Surveys can take one of two forms:

• Management survey: a standard sampling, identification and assessment survey (sampling survey) collects representative samples which are analysed for the presence of asbestos
• Refurbishment/Demolition Survey: a full access sampling and identification survey is an intrusive survey which may involve destructive inspection.
